How to Collect Your Sample

  1. Prepare Your Sample: Rinse your mouth with water 10 minutes before collecting your sample.
  2. Collect Your Sample:
    - Unscrew the cap on the sample collection tube.
    - Pool saliva in your mouth by yawning, thinking of your favorite food, or smelling lemons.
    - Tilt your head forward and push saliva down into the tube using your tongue.
    - Fill the tube to the fill line.
    - Screw the cap tightly on the tube.
    - Write your full name and date of birth on the tube.
  3. Package Your Sample:
    - Place the saliva tube into the biohazard bag.
    - Place the completed requisition form into the outside pocket on the biohazard bag.
    - Put the biohazard bag into the test kit box.

Shipping Instructions

  1. Prepare for Shipping: Place the specimen tube into the biohazard bag.
  2. Package the Sample: Put the biohazard bag into the test kit box, and then into the provided shipping envelope.
  3. Label and Ship: Seal the shipping envelope, note the tracking number, and ship your sample via FedEx.
    - Take your sample to the nearest FedEx shipping location. Do not place your sample in a FedEx drop box.

Results

Your results will be available 10-14 business days after the lab receives your sample. Processing time can vary.

We do not ship test kits from a Reveal & Heal Solutions warehouse, but we do make sure the labs ship your kits from theirs!

    Each individual lab has its own average shipping time (the time it takes for the kit to arrive at your home) and turnaround time (the time it takes for the lab to process samples and provide results after you've mailed back your kit).

    Return packaging is always included in your test kit! Each individual lab has instructions on how to package and return your kit so the sample reaches the laboratory in good condition. These will include a step-by-step guide on how to package and mail back your kit to ensure your sample can be processed!

    We highly recommend taking a photo of your return label so you can personally track your sample back to the lab! Some of our partner labs do notify us when your sample has been received, and you will receive an e-mail from Reveal & Heal Solutions notifying you when this happens. If available, we will also update you with the “Estimated Completion Date” as well.

    If there are any issues with your samples, we will receive this notification directly from the lab and we will then notify you. This will include the notice from the lab and what the next steps will be. If you are required to do a recollection, our team will send you another kit at no charge.
